The AICPA Foundation awards scholarships of $5,000 to $10,000 to accounting students who intend to become licensed CPAs, with 96 awards given in a recent cycle. Applications open December 1 each year and close March 15.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate accounting degree with both overall and major GPAs of at least 3.0, and must plan to pursue CPA licensure without already holding it. Candidates need at least 30 semester hours of college coursework completed, including 6 hours in accounting, and must be enrolled for the full upcoming academic year. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
