Air Force ROTC's High School Scholarship Program awards multi-year college scholarships, including options that cover up to full tuition and fees, to students who enroll in AFROTC and commit to serving as officers in the Air Force or Space Force after graduation. The application window for students entering college in fall 2027 runs from July 1, 2026 through December 11, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must have completed their junior year of high school and be U.S. citizens or able to obtain citizenship by the end of the first term of their freshman year. Minimums include a 3.3 unweighted cumulative GPA and an SAT score of 1310 or ACT score of 28, with the ACT science section required; superscoring is not accepted. Candidates must be at least 17 at scholarship activation and no more than 30 by December 31 of their commissioning year, and must pass a physical fitness assessment and interview.
