Annual NBNA Scholarships

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be African Americans currently enrolled in a nursing program and be in good academic standing, be members of the NBNA, be members of a local chapter and have at least a full year of school remaining. Applicants must submit with their application an essay, references, an official transcript and evidence of participation in student nurse activities and involvement in the African American community.

Apply directly through the sponsoring organization's official application — an essay is part of the application. Review the eligibility requirements above first, and give yourself time before the April 15, 2027 deadline.
