A $1,000 scholarship awarded annually by the National Institute for Labor Relations Research in memory of three Michigan public school teachers. It goes to an education student whose application demonstrates dedication to Right to Work principles. Online applications are accepted each year from September 1 through December 31.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students majoring in education at an institution in the United States; current teachers pursuing an advanced degree in education also qualify. High school students and undergraduates without a declared education major are not eligible. The application requires a 500-700 word essay along with a transcript or acceptance letter.
