The Chicago Scholars Award provides scholarships and mentoring to Chicago students from under-resourced communities. Named awards within the program support students pursuing journalism and communications, with priority for first-generation students and youth who have experienced foster care.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must live in the City of Chicago and be graduating high school seniors planning to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year institution. Priority consideration is given to first-generation college students and to applicants who have experienced foster care.
