Larry Acterman Public Education Award

Eligibility Requirements

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and high school senior graduating from the Long Beach Unified School District who is planning to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in the state of California. Outstanding scholastic ability and determination to graduate college and become a public school teacher must be demonstrated. Essay, current transcript, and two letters of recommendation required.
