Minority Scholarship Awards for Incoming College Freshmen is a $1,000 scholarship open to students nationwide. Full eligibility requirements are listed below.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be members of a minority group (i.e. African American, Hispanic, Native American or Alaskan Native) that is underrepresented in chemical engineering. Applicants must also be high school graduates during the academic year of application and plan to enroll in a four-year college or university. Applicants are encouraged to major in science or engineering. Selection is also based on academic record, reason for choosing science or engineering, work or activities and financial need.
