The Toward EXcellence, Access, and Success (TEXAS) Grant helps well-prepared Texas students with financial need attend public universities in the state. Award amounts are set annually and paired with institutional aid to cover tuition and fees.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be Texas residents who completed the Foundation High School Program or equivalent, demonstrate financial need with an expected family contribution below the state cap, and enroll at least three-quarter time at a public Texas university. Priority is given to students who file the FAFSA by the priority deadline.
