The Special Education Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be majoring in special education and must be taking at least one major-required class in the upcoming fall semester. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or greater. Students will need to submit an essay describing why they are pursuing career in special education and how they plan to make a difference in the lives of the disabled. Selection is based on the essay.

Apply directly through the sponsoring organization's official application — an essay is part of the application. Review the eligibility requirements above first, and give yourself time before the August 1, 2027 deadline.
